The Story

This mural commemorates the homecoming of Marines after Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. The 1991 victory parade became part of the city’s modern military history, with the 2021 Oasis brochure recording a crowd of 40,000 people for what it calls “The Mother of All Parades.”
